My gut response without being able to take a look at your setup is that your lamps are being worn out prematurely by too much off and on.

Firstly the wattage of the lamps used is generally for outside use as they need to give off a certain amount of heat in a vivarium the heat cannot escape and so burns out the filament winding however this is the intended use of a high wattage lamp in a vivarium i use these with my iguana.
Just play around with the wattage until you hit the temp range your lizards need and make sure you use fixtures with.

I keep quite a few high temp lizards collared lizards uros and a couple of savs in 10 different largish enclosures and i use a mix of regular incandescent and halogen full spectrum spots for the basking and heat bulbs.

By blowing i m assuming you mean the lamp keeps burning out and not actually exploding.
